DIRECTOR
Stan Yoder is the founder and artistic driving force behind Young Musicians Community Orchestra and has been its director since 1991. He is the director of elementary and middle school strings in the Perkiomen Valley school district, where he leads the orchestra.
Formerly the director of music at both Christopher Dock Mennonite High School and Penn View Christian School, Stan is a founding member of the Montgomery County Honors String Orchestra and the Instrumental Music Festival of the Mennonite Secondary Education Council. He is currently a member of the violin section of both the Southeast Pennsylvania Symphony Orchestra and the Lower Merion Symphony. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Western Oregon College and a master’s degree from the University of Oregon.
